Draft · pending qualified legal review
Privacy notice
This notice describes how the NoticeClear beta handles personal data. It is a draft. It is not a finished privacy notice and it has not had qualified legal review. The longer draft, with the source citations, is in the repository under docs/gdpr.
Who this is about
The beta is aimed at a keeper dealing with a private parking charge notice in England or Wales. The controller details, including any ICO registration, have to be confirmed by the owner before launch. See the ICO checklist in the draft pack. This build does not claim a registration number.
What we hold
Account email and password hash, the notice you upload, the facts you confirm, the letter versions you edit, submission records, and payment records from the simulated checkout. Medical or Blue Badge files are special-category data. They are stored only with explicit consent, kept for a shorter time, and left out of extraction unless you separately agree to that step.
Why
The draft reasoning is contract, for the service you asked for, and legitimate interests, for security, fraud checks, and a small set of aggregate counts. Special-category evidence needs a UK GDPR Article 9 condition. The draft uses explicit consent. You can withhold the extraction consent and type the facts yourself.
Your requests
You can ask for a copy, a portable file, erasure, or an objection. Erasure and objections wait for a person to review them. Asking does not delete evidence by itself. There is no analytics cookie and no consent banner, because this beta does not load an analytics tool.
